On a 07 R6 you bought a GYTR muffler there is no spot for the cables to go back in does this effect the motor and what are they for?

Looks likeyou got the wrong muffler or you need to modify it for fuel injection. The cables are for the fuel injection oxygen sensor; essential for engine management, performance, and minimizing emmissions.
