What states allow wolves as pets?

You would have to check not only your state laws, but also your city/county laws if you are serious about getting one. Many states allow wolves, but most of them you need to get USDA licensed and a permit, which most of the time is very hard to get. One of the requirements to be licensed is building a large enclosure, but that is hardly the only requirement.
