Car repair information can be specific to the make and model of vehicle or it can be generally applicable. In either case information is available from public libraries where books covering repairs to specific models (from publishers such as Gregories, Haynes, Chiltons and Clymer) and covering general automotive skills are stocked and can be borrowed. These books can also be purchased in auto supply stores.
