How do you calculator hard disk capacity?

cylynders x heads x sectors x 512 bytes = () /1024 to convert to kilobytes =() /1024 to convert to megabytes

the question is asked from the text book however the answer is do your homework yourself as it should be

although the proper formula would have been useful i typed in a search how to calculate a hard drive capacity an was redirected to the exact question from the book thus how i know what that answer says i separated it and provided the formula above as i thought it would be useful for people who are attempting to do there homework themselves

just a thought to add to the other answer though the internet is a great resource don't let it make you lazy
