Software products are two types, they are (1) Problem Domain solutions, currently most of the companies, currently trying to convert their projects into products with the help of their existing requirements. In this context they do have their own proprietory frameworks, common utils and (2) Tool software, these kind of products are used in different phases of SDLC.
