Fuselier de la Claire

Gabriel Fuselier de la Claire was born on August 28, 1722. He was married twice. One of his wives was Jeanne Roman and the other was Helen Elizabeth Soileau. Gabriel was the father of Honore Fuselier dit Montigny. He was also the first commandant of the Attakapas Post which is now known as St. Martinville in Louisiana.
