How do you tow a 1980 jeep?

If it is a manual tranny, make sure tranny is in neutral and front differential (if 4 wheel drive) is in neutral or not engaged, install a tow bar and go to town. If it is an automatic tranny, take the drive shaft out, disengage the 4wheel drive, if applicable, add a tow bar and go to town. Or, you can always get a trailer and tow the vehicle off the ground. You need to make sure your tow vehicle is able to do the work you are asking it to do!!!!!! good luck.
