The same as they are for their CDL equivalents -

  • Class A: Any combination with a gross vehicle weight rating of over 26,000 lbs, provided the vehicle in tow is rated at greater than 10,000 lbs.
  • Class B: Single vehicles or combination with a gross vehicle weight rating of over 26,000 lbs, and in which a vehicle in tow may not exceed 10,000 lbs. rating.
  • Class C: Single vehicles and combinations under 26,000 lbs. gross vehicle weight rating
