How do you close your account with Facebook?

you go to your account settings, and at the bottom of the options its going to say deactivate. facebook is going to ask you to provide a reason on why you want to close it. DEPENDING on what reason you choose, your account may still be available. if you pick the reason that says something along the lines of the fact that you genuinely want nothing more to do with facebook, your account will be permanently deleted. if you pick the option that explains that your deletion is temporary, it will save your account and just hide you from everyone, and you can reactivate your account at anytime by typing in ur email and passWord.
