Karl Lagerfeld is the Chief Designer for Chanel, it is owned by the Wertheimer Family. Originally Pierre & Paul Wertheimer partnered with Coco Chanel to build the Perfume line, now the company has been passed down to Alain & Gerard Wertheimer.
