Im 13, I know this. Dont let anyone tell you your not supposed to date at 12. They're just giving you the mom answer...Im gonna give you the older-sister answer: grow boobs. haha okay seriously, guys at that age are hormone crazed...which makes them extremely easy to get a hold of. Flip your hair all the time, and throw him little half smiles when he makes jokes instead of fake laughing. If he catches you staring in class, or you catch him staring, let him know. to the half smile thing again and THEN look down at your books. Drive him crazy.
