Where is Tanzanite mined?

Tanzanite can only be founded in Africa's Rift Valley. It is about 25 miles from Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, in an area called Marerani. There are four actively mined tanzanite blocks labeled A-D. A and C block are reserved for foreign investment, while B and D can mine mined by locals.

I believe you are wrong, according to the information I have gathered Tanzanite is in fact mined in the Merelanihills.
