How do you make a tracks background transparent in sony Vegas 3 tracks parent mask and child video pan top right like picture in picture on top of 3rd but want clean oval pnp not black square?

I've found it. On the parent mask track, edit the generated media (white center/black oval media), click on the little circle #2 representing the black part, and then pull down the transparancy slider all the way.
