How old are cocroches?

Cockroaches have been around for approximately 300 million years, making them one of the oldest insect species on Earth. They first appeared during the Carboniferous period, long before the dinosaurs. Their resilience and adaptability have allowed them to survive various mass extinctions and environmental changes over millions of years. Today, there are around 4,600 species of cockroaches worldwide.
