Where does Bollywood come from?

It's a combination of the Words Bombay and Hollywood. Hollywood being the center of the American film industry, and Bombay (Mumbai) being where the large majority of India's films are made. Bollywood does not pertain to all Indian movies, however. It is a genre that generally contains a love story amidst dancing and song.
