What to do with an injured hummingbird?

Give it water to drink and nectar. Put a strainer over it so that it can't fly away but can easily get air. Once it seems to have recovered some put it in a flower bush where it can continue to rest on its own. If it is able to fly it should fly away soon. However, if the injury is very bad you may not be able to help it.
