Do male cockatiels speak

Some have learned to mimic human Words, but they do not understand their meaning.

cockatiels CAN talk. but it requires persistance and a lot of patients, there are a lot of theorys that if you record a tape of your voice and play it over and over again, this does work! but the cockatiel will get bored and only learn a couple of Words. the other way is to cover the cage with something dark, and say phraises to it. or you could go under the blanket and talk directly to it, saying "good boy/girl" or "pretty parrot". i hope helped :DDD
