I have a 1990 b2200 with hydrualic lifters and switched to solid lifters and had the same problem. After lots of research I settled on 10 thousandth's for all. originally it was 10 and 12 K but found that the intakes made too much noise so we adjusted them to 10 as well. I have driven this truck now for 6 mos. and no problems. Remember to run the engine until it is at operating temp. before adjusting, if the engine is cooled or cools down to much you will need to set them again. start from the other end of the engine so it doesnt cool down at the same place while you are adjusting. good luck and I'm sure it will work for you.
