How do you put fitting on steel braided fuel lines?

The hose cut has to be clean and not frayed. Use a hammer and sharp chisel on concrete. Wrap line in elec. tape and cut through it. Thread hex part onto hose until it bottoms out with an wrench or soft jawed crescent. Then simply thread nipple part into it.
