When did the Massey Ferguson company produce its first line of tractors?

Originally named the Newcastle Foundry and Machine Manufactory, the company that would become Massey Ferguson came to be in 1879. Eventually the company went through several name changes and merged with the Ferguson Company in 1958. The first line of truly merged Massey Ferguson tractors started production in 1958.
