What does a rooster tattoo symbolize?

The meaning of it speacially to the people of the pacific islands is a traditional way of showing there roots it represents their owners to the arena like back in gladiator ways. This roosters are highly bred by different blood lines that are really mean and brave even if they're full of cut or dying there still fighting till the last breathe. this is my opinion no offend others idea.
