Why do people need false teeth?

Usually it’s due to a combination of tooth decay, gum disease, fear, finances and neglect. Over time, the infections and pain become so severe that some people decide to have their teeth removed and replaced.

My father developed an infection around a wisdom tooth that caused him so much pain that he went to the dentist and insisted on having all his teeth removed and replaced with dentures, so that he would never experience that much pain again. That’s another reason.
