Can you catch Eevee in the trophy garden in Pokemon diamond?

Eevee is a Daily Pokemon in the Trophy Garden. Mr. Backlot tells you what the daily Pokemon is when you talk to him (also, yesterday's Pokemon is in there as well. They're there for two days before they migrate again.) You can catch Eevee here, but the encounter rate is only 5% so you'll be in there for a while.

If you really, really want your Eevee, and you have a lot of time on your hands, here's how you catch Eevee in the Trophy Garden:

1. Head South from Hearthome City.
2. Save your game before entering the Pokemon Mansion.
3. Enter, and head to the first room on the right.
4. Talk to the brunette man directly in front of you.
5. Endure his bragging, admitting to your "envy" until he tells you what Pokemon has kissed him today.
6. If he doesn't say Eevee is in his Trophy Garden, turn off your game. Repeat steps 3-5 until he tells you that Eevee is in his garden.
7. Go out back and wander around until you find your Eevee.

If you find yourself cycling through the same Pokemon, Eevee might be yesterday's Pokemon.

He's going to be between level 16 and 18 so either equip an appropriately leveled Pokemon or a Pokemon with False Swipe (like Sneasel) and bring lots of Balls to catch him!

Good luck! He's rare, but worth it!
