Notebook computers are basically compact laptops without the storage. They store less locally, using the Web to access cloud-based services and applications instead. Although it is not absolutely necessary to have an internet connection to use a notebook computer, there is little you can do without one. Notebook computers are best for students and those who need to maintain a connection to the Internet, such as webmasters and day traders.
