How long does it take for a Morning Glory to grow?

Did you soke the seeds in warm water? I didn't, but I made sure that the soil the seeds were in stayed watered alot. It says online that you are supposed to soke the seeds for about twenty four hours in warm water before you plant them. I planted mine about a week ago and they are already sprouting. They are about 4 inches tall now! I am new at growing them, so I don't know how long it will take for them to grow to maturity.
