What should you do if you hook a sting ray while fishing?

If you catch a sting ray while fishing you must first get it to an open area near the water. Turn it on it's back place your foot or something hard over it's tail to protect you from the stinger. Then use needle nose pliers to remove the hook and carefully place the ray back into the water. ALWAYS keep your eye on it's tail because they are fast.
