How do you move icons on desk top?

When you have 2 monitors lined up next to each other you can access them by just gliding your mouse over to the other. You can move icons how you would any other file just by clicking and dragging over. If this does not work go to your control panel and check your "Appearance and Personalization" settings to make sure you have connected the monitor correctly.
