Who runs Maryland?

Maryland is governed by an executive branch led by the Governor, who is elected by the state's residents. As of my last update, the Governor is Wes Moore, a Democrat who took office in January 2023. The state also has a bicameral legislature consisting of the Maryland House of Delegates and the Maryland Senate, which plays a crucial role in lawmaking. Additionally, local governments manage various aspects of governance within their jurisdictions.
