Another Night by Real McCoy is the perfect example of unrequited love in my opinion.

The song is about a woman who dreams about an unknown man. The woman sings that the only time she is with him is in her dreams. The male singer in the song backs this up, telling her all the things she wants to hear. Afet that, the woman sings again about how lonely she gets when she wakes up, and how she won't be able to see her mystery lover again until the next night.
