Here are step-by-step instructions for your question(Most of everything I tell you will be almost, if not, exactly the same as computers with Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8):

  1. Move the mouse pointer to the bookmark you want to remove
  2. Right-click while "hovering over" the bookmark
  3. Move with your mouse to or finger(for laptops)(On some computers/laptops you can press down or up to "scroll" through the options) to the "Delete" option
  4. Click it(the "Delete" option)

P.S.- If the mouse isn't working try unplugging it and then re-plugging it in, if this doesn't work try a new (wireless) mouse. If this is on a laptop and your "Touchpad"(ex: "DELL Touchpad") isn't working try using a mouse (wireless or not wireless mouse, it shouldn't matter), this should fix it (more or less) "temporarily". You could then try:

A) Go to your "Control Panel" and try the "Hardware and Sound" option, then see if it says "Touchpad"(mine says "DELL Touchpad"), if you don't see it then you might have uninstalled it(if that's possible)

B) Go to your "Control Panel" and try "looking up" "touchpad" or something similar to that

C) Go to your programs search and type in "touchpad", you should be able to find it, click it and you should be brought to a screen or box that allows you to customize the settings(if using Windows 8: make your "mouse pointer" to "hover"/be in the far right side of the screen, click the "search" option, choose settings, then type in touchpad or something similar to that, here you should find a box that says (for me it says DELL) "Touchpad", click it and you should be brought to a screen or box that allows you to customize the settings)

D) "Googling" why your "Touchpad" won't work

If you have more questions feel free to:

A) Ask it in answers.com/wikianswers.com

B) Ask it in the "Discussion" page/section for this question

C) Googling it
