Who replaced Adolf Hitler?

Karl Doenitz took over Hitler after he committed suicide on the 30th of April 1945.

Karl Doenitz however was trialled for being part of the Nazi movement and was convected of war crimes from 1946 to 1956.

He was in charge of Germany until the 7th of May 1945 when he ordered the unconditional surrender of Germany along with a new cabinet that had been formed.
