How to disable DRL on a 2010 vw jetta TDI?

not sure if it works on all 2010s but get in car, shut door, ensure ebrake is off, hold turn signal stalk to the left and pull towards you (like flashing your beams), turn key to ON, shoud beep 6 times and they go out!
