How do dogs get the distemper virus?

They get distemper from a virus. It has nothing to do with too many people petting them, nor does it make any difference if kids are playing with them. It also does not have anything to do with them being bothered when they do not want to be, or doing things that they do not want to do. It is inhaled from another animal that has the virus. It can be passed on through drinking water, food, inhaling the virus, and feces.

Once they have it, it is usually fatal. It also causes brain damage in those who get the virus.
