Who invented the rainforest?

Rainforest are not an invention. They are an adaptation.
One does not invent a type of forest. There are specific types of plants animals and insects that are adapted to live in the high rainfall and moderate to warm temperatures of some areas. These together make a rainforest. The life in a rainforest is varied and rich because there are few restrictions: plenty of water, plenty of nutrients and moderate temperatures.
