Why shouldn't you squeeze spots?

Unless it is at a head and is ready to be popped, sqeezing a pimple before it's fully formed can irritate it and drive it even deeper into the skin, causing prolonged redness and puffiness. If you pick at it enough, it can also leave scars or dark marks. Cleanse your face and apply acne treatment, and it will be gone in a couple days, no need for sqeezing!

* Also : You should never squeeze a spot as you could cause a secondary infection and scarring which will not go away.
