He was portrayed as the king of the gods, standing up with a thunderbolt in his hand ready to smite anyone that committed ''hubris'' or sitting majestically in his throne. Most stories about Zeus have to do with his sexual exploits. He would have sex with gods and mortals, women and men alike, with or without their will. He would frequently transform himself to anything (to rain to impregnate Danae, to a bull for Europa) for that.
