What were 3-5 achievements of the Roman civilization?

  • Their straight roads
  • Their Underfloor heating (for houses and baths)
  • Their conquering of lands and their army
  • Their art and music and culture
  • The ongoing civilization.

1.Romans conquered most of the known world, about 3/4 of it and made a sea their lake.

2.The Roman legions were the most disciplined and tacticaly advanced army until modern age. One of their most interesting battles was Battle of Wattle street where they defeated an army of 200 000 celts with only 10 000 soldiers.

3.Whoever fought Rome, eventually lost.

4.Romans built huge amazing buildings like the Coloseum which could house between 60 000 and 80 000 people at once and the Pantheon where they for the first time in human history used concrete, which some other "genius" claimed to have discovered 15 centuries later.

5.Roman law and government systems are in use today in so called "modern" nations, except there was less corruption in roman times.

6. If I relly wrote all of there achievments it would take several days so five should do it.
