How many kms is a 2002 Harley softail engine good for before a rebuild?

That depends alot on the maintainence and the way it is ridden. Also is it an evo or twin cam? Evo are known to last 200K miles. Twin cams are not as durable and it is cheaper to buy a new engine than rebuild.
