Do grasshoppers have heart chambers

Grasshoppers do not have heart chambers like those found in vertebrates. Instead, they possess a tubular heart that is open at both ends and is part of an open circulatory system. This heart pumps hemolymph (a fluid analogous to blood) through the body cavity, where it bathes the organs directly. The lack of distinct heart chambers is a characteristic feature of many invertebrates.
