Are night lights safe for babies?

Night lights are necessary and safe in baby nursery. Care should be taken that these light are pretty dim and of soothing shades like blue and green. Only indirect light should fall on babies face. The bulb, shade and switch should not be within reach of baby and shade should be of unbreakable material.
