How do you loosen the Caliper on front brakes 2001 Audi A6 2.7T?

Hey i just changed my brakes last week and i think you're running into the same problem i had. If it's the 12 point bolts you're having trouble removing just go into a Npa store and ask for the 12 point tool which i believe is called a serrated socket. The number on the tool they gave me is K-D 2306, it cost $8
