To get a transponder key, you can order a blank one online or buy it from a dealer or locksmith. To program it yourself:

Insert your existing working key and turn it to “On” (not start).

After a few seconds, turn it off and insert the new key within 10 seconds.

Turn the new key to “On” and wait for the security light to go off (usually takes a few seconds).
