As of my last knowledge update in October 2023, Dave Brubeck, the renowned jazz pianist and composer, passed away on December 5, 2012. His legacy continues through his extensive discography and the influence he had on Jazz Music. While he is no longer active, his work remains celebrated and influential in the music world.
