How can you get a forklift certificate without a job?

Employers are required to certify thier workers on all mobile equipment. Therefore, getting training at one place should NOT be accepted by another employer since there equipment, facility layout and hazards would differ. Sorry, but you need to have whomever you are working for complete your certification.
