What is a pipe schedule?

Pipe schedule tell you something about the wall thickness of a pipe.

Higher schedule means thicker wall.

The actual thickness must be read from a pipe specification sheet, as it differs from material to material. Typical pipe sch. are Sch 20, 40, 80, 160, XS, XXS.
