How could the ozone used in the sterilization of bottled water to affect the bottles made of polypropylene or polyethylene and then the water taste and odor?

Ozone can attack and oxidize the molecules of the bottle. If the ozone dose is controlled, and applied to the IBWA guidelines, this effect is minimal and the water and bottle are "sterile".
