Where did Zynga get its name from?

Zynga is a popular social game provider founded in April 2007, and headquartered in San Francisco, California, in the US. In July 2007, the company changed it's name from Presidio Media, to Zynga, in honor of Zinga, former CEO Mark Pincus' late American bulldog.

Zynga launched its best-known game, FarmVille, on the social network platform, Facebook, in June 2009, reaching 10 million daily active users within 6 weeks.
