Do you think that CD-ROMS will eventually replace printed books?

Not likely, I don't see books being replaced by CD-ROMS, but I do see them being replaced with electronic devices that allow the user to read several books in one device (such as the Kindle/Kindle HD). Don't worry though, I doubt that reading will ever go obsolete, because no matter how technologically advanced we get, reading will be a needed skill for everyone.
