Who is Mr Sloane in The Great Gatsby?

Well, honey, Mr. Sloane is about as important as a fly on a cow's back in "The Great Gatsby." He's just a minor character who shows up at one of Gatsby's parties, probably just looking for a free drink. Don't waste your time worrying about him, there are much more interesting characters to focus on in that book.
