What is a good way to say you lost your job due to bad performance?

First, you have to admit and accept the poor performance. Second, you can shift some of the responsibility to the company. Such as: I didn't have enough experience to perform that job and my manager never provided any training. Or: I know I wasn't the highest producing employee but the company didn't have any measureable performance standards that I could use for self-evaluation.
